What Willowbrook homes change about a Electrolux repair
Local housing, power events, water conditions, and installation styles all affect how we approach Electrolux diagnostics here.
Apartments and newer houses by the mall
The mall dates to 1981, but the housing is newer: more than half of the area's 3,700 or so homes were built from 2000 through 2009. Most are apartments, with about 1,200 detached houses.
Apartment addresses usually have a manager who approves visits. Give us the unit and a contact for access.
Cypress Creek flooding and outages
Nearly 30 inches of rain from Harvey fell on the Cypress Creek watershed in 2017, and the creek and its tributaries flooded to record levels. Even so, the more common threat to appliances in apartments and newer houses here is a long summer power outage.
When power comes back, wipe out the refrigerator and let it cool before restocking. If it stays warm, the cooling parts get tested.
French-door refrigerators and apartment hookups
Newer houses around the mall tend to feature a French-door refrigerator and either a gas or electric range. Apartments more often supply a basic dishwasher and hookups for compact or full-size laundry.
A French-door refrigerator needs space for airflow and a reliable water line. Take a photo of the rating plate ahead of the visit so we arrive prepared.
Houston’s city limits end at Willowbrook’s edge, with unincorporated areas beyond. Your water bill shows whether the city or a utility district serves you. Request service by phone or web form, and we’ll agree on one of our three arrival windows.
Gated parking and an on-site manager are typical at the complexes near the mall. We begin with supply, display and airflow, and a breaker that keeps flipping needs an electrician. When a French-door refrigerator warms up, its fan and sensors get tested.

The fan, sensor and gasket come first.
Who provides my water?
Your bill shows the supplier's name. Houston accounts and utility districts publish different reports, and we use the matching one.
Can you fix a washer or dryer in my apartment?
Yes. Give us the unit number and a contact who can let us in, plus rating plate details if you have them.
