EI24RD65KS
Electrolux EI24RD65KS 24-Inch Drawer Repair
Most common issues on this model
- One drawer that cools while the other does not
- Control that shows a temperature the drawer does not hold
- Compressor that cycles too often
- Drawer front that sits out of line
The EI24RD65KS is a pair of 24-inch under-counter refrigerator drawers in stainless steel, with two independent drawers and revisions KS0 and KS1. The model is discontinued and is an older unit, but it still serves many Houston homes that use it for drinks, produce or overflow food.
Two independent drawers means each has its own temperature, so a problem often shows up in only one. We therefore test them separately: the control setting, the sensor, the airflow path and the seal for each drawer. We also clean the grille and the condenser area, since under-counter units gather dust and lint and can run hot.
Our first visit ends with a clear answer on what failed and what it costs. The label tells us whether yours is KS0 or KS1, and the part we order matches it. Our work is warranted for 30 days, and you approve a written estimate before we start.

Can the two drawers fail separately?
Yes. Each drawer has its own temperature setting, so one can warm up while the other is fine. We test the sensor, airflow and seal for each drawer before we pick a part.
The compressor starts and stops a lot. Is that serious?
Not always. A dirty condenser, a warm cabinet or a bad seal makes the unit work harder. We clean and test those first, then look at the controls.
Do I need to remove the drawers for service?
Sometimes we take them out to reach the fan and the sensors. We handle that carefully, keep your food in coolers on request, and put everything back before we leave.
