What HI means

HI blinks on the display of the Electrolux IQ-Touch wine coolers and beverage centers EI24WC65GS and EI24BC65GS and on the European wine tower EI24WC75HS when the temperature inside is too high. The high temperature indicator stays on until you acknowledge it. It is a warning about cabinet temperature, not an error code with a fixed cause. You can silence the sound with the mute sounds key.

Does pressing the mute key fix HI?

It acknowledges the alert and stops the sound. It does not cool the cabinet, so the cause still needs to be found if HI returns after a while.

Is a warm cabinet after a big load normal?

Adding many warm bottles can briefly push the temperature up. If the cabinet does not come back down after a few hours, the cooler needs testing and you should call us.

Should I move my wine?

If the cabinet stays warm for a long time, yes. Move valuable bottles somewhere cool until the cooler has been checked, since lasting warmth can spoil wine.
