My wine cooler is not as cold as the setting. Why?
Check that vents are clear, the door seals tightly and the room is not unusually warm. If those are fine, a fan, sensor or control may be failing. We test temperature and airflow rather than guessing from the setting.
Can a built-in unit be serviced in place?
In many cases. Parts often reach from the front or after a short pull-out. If the unit must be moved, we explain that first, because the cabinet opening and any power or water connections limit how far it comes out.
Is a ten-year-old wine cooler worth repairing?
Usually, if the problem is a fan, a sensor or a gasket. A failed cooling system on an older unit is a harder call, and we tell you plainly when replacing it is the better choice.
