Black, stainless and white versions of this range exist: EI30EF55GB, EI30EF55GS and EI30EF55GW. The EI30EF55GS is the stainless one, an electric freestanding range 30 inches wide with IQ-Touch controls. Electrolux has discontinued the line, and we still service it.
Baking that is uneven or too hot usually comes from the temperature sensor, the bake element or the control that decides when to cycle them. We put an oven thermometer on the rack and watch the oven through a full cycle, which shows whether the oven overshoots or undershoots. Then we test the element and sensor, and finally the panel.
Three finishes means three sets of trim, so we confirm the number on the label before ordering. A written price is approved before the visit starts, and the repair carries a 30-day workmanship warranty.

My oven bakes unevenly. Is it the element?
It might be the bake element, but a drifting sensor can also cause it. We test both and check the oven with a thermometer, so we replace only the part that failed.
Does the finish letter on EI30EF55G change the parts?
The S, B and W letters mark stainless, black and white. Many parts are the same, but trim and door glass are not. We read the label so the right part is ordered.
The oven runs too hot. Is that dangerous?
It can burn food and stress the range. Turn the oven off and call us. We test the sensor and the control relay, which are the common causes, and quote the repair first.
