Why has my hood fan gotten so noisy?
Grease on the blades, a loose mount or a worn motor bearing are common causes. Turn the fan off, check that filters are installed and clean, and listen for scraping. We find the source before replacing anything.
My hood runs but does not pull smoke. Why?
