Electrolux made the E30EW85EPS as a Professional Series double wall oven, 30 inches wide and electric, with an upper and a lower oven. It is an older model, and builds from EPS1 through EPS4 have been used with this number. A double oven doubles the parts that can wear: two doors, two locks, two sensors and two sets of elements.

If only one oven is misbehaving, we focus on its own latch, sensor and elements, because the control board is shared and still works. Only the lower oven works on my E30EW85EPS. Is that a control problem?
Not necessarily. If the upper oven works, the control board is usually alive. We test the lower oven's element, sensor and relay separately, and quote the part that fails.
Can one door latch be replaced without touching the other?
Yes. Each oven has its own latch assembly. We replace the one that failed and check the other while the unit is open, so you know its condition.
Does a double oven take longer to repair?
