ECWS3011AS
Electrolux ECWS3011AS Single Oven Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Setup and demo mode after installation
- Door lock
- Bake element
- Control and sensor behavior
Electrolux made the ECWS3011AS as a single electric wall oven, 30 inches wide, with Air Sous Vide and a revision called ECWS3011ASA. It is a discontinued model. A single oven is simpler than a double or a combination unit, so the first check is usually setup, then the lock, and then the element.
If the oven shows power but never heats, we check whether it is still in demo mode, which leaves the display on and the elements off. We then test the bake element and sensor. A door lock that stays closed after a cleaning cycle goes to the lock motor and switch. If the oven was just installed, we also check the cutout fit and the power supply.
For an oven that is no longer made, the plate gives us the full number before we order. The price is written out first, and a repair that does not make sense gets called out as such.

My ECWS3011AS is lit but does not heat. Is the element bad?
Maybe not. We first check demo mode, which keeps the display active and the elements off. If it is not the cause, we test the element and sensor with the power off.
How do you handle a locked door?
We release it safely and test the lock motor and switch. If a part has failed, we replace that part and test a full lock and unlock cycle before we leave.
What does the ASA ending mean?
It marks a revision of the same oven. Revisions can change boards and small parts. We check the plate for the exact number and order the part that matches your oven.
