Electrolux made the EI27EW45JS as a double wall oven, 27 inches wide and electric, with IQ-Touch controls, in stainless steel. Four revisions are known, EI27EW45JS1 through JS4. It is a discontinued model, and a narrow 27-inch double oven is one of the harder sizes to replace in an existing cabinet.
With two ovens controlled from one panel, the first thing we find out is which oven is affected. A lower oven that heats unevenly points to its element and sensor. A lock that fails in only one oven points to that oven’s lock motor. If the oven clicks, shows power and still does not heat, the relays on the control board can be the cause, and we test them rather than replacing the board blindly.

A relay is a switch that sends power to an element. Relays wear out. If one fails, one oven or one element may stop heating. We test them to see if the board needs repair.
Can only one oven lock fail while the other works?
Yes. Each oven has its own lock motor and switch. We replace only the one that failed and check the other while the oven is open.
