EI30EW45JS
Electrolux EI30EW45JS Convection Oven Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Upper oven convection fan
- Touch panel keys that stop responding
- Both ovens down after a control failure
- Lower oven element and lock
Electrolux made the EI30EW45JS as a J-generation double wall oven, 30 inches wide and electric, with IQ-Touch controls. Both the upper and the lower oven have convection, and the ovens have self-clean and Luxury-Glide racks. Builds EI30EW45JS1 to JS4 exist, and the model is discontinued.
With two convection ovens, there are two fans and two sets of elements to check. If one fan fails, only that oven bakes unevenly. If the touch panel keys stop responding, the problem is usually the panel or its connector. If both ovens go dead at the same time, that points to the shared control board or the power supply rather than two separate failures, and we test for that first.
Because the four builds may use different boards, we read the plate before we order any part. The price is written first, and an older double oven that is not worth repairing will get a straight answer.

Both ovens on my EI30EW45JS quit at once. Why?
When both fail together, the shared board or the power supply is a better suspect than two separate parts. We test the supply and the board connections first, then the board.
One oven bakes unevenly and the other is fine. What does that mean?
Each oven has its own convection fan and elements. The one that bakes unevenly likely has a fan or element problem. We test those in that oven alone.
Can Luxury-Glide racks cause service problems?
The racks are separate from the heating system. If they stick, it is usually a cleaning or wear issue. If the oven has a different problem, we check it independent of the racks.
