What E 74 means

Electrolux ICON 36-inch induction cooktops such as the E36IC75FSS display E 74 when the generator board stops answering the control's messages. The generator makes the high-frequency power for the induction coils, so with the link down, the control turns off the zones it feeds. You will see E 74 with no heat from those zones. It is the counterpart of E 34 on the other module, and we treat the two together.

It is the board that turns incoming power into the fast signal used by the induction coils. If it is unreachable, the zones cannot heat.

Does E 74 mean the glass is bad?
