What iE0 means

The iE0 code on Electrolux ICON dishwashers such as the EI24CD35RS and EW24ID80QS means the flow controller, the part that moves water between the upper and lower spray levels, did not reach its position within 120 seconds. The control cannot send water where it should, so the cycle stops or wash results are uneven. You may see dishes in one rack clean and the other still dirty.

Common causes of iE0

  • Flow controller diverter
  • Diverter motor or its wiring
  • Debris blocking the diverter
  • Control board output for the diverter
✓ One safe check you can try

1. Stop the cycle with Cancel and look inside once the door opens. 2. Pull out both racks and clean the filter. 3. Make sure no dish, handle or utensil is blocking a spray arm. 4. Close up and run a quick rinse. If iE0 returns, call us.

! Why to stop there
  • We find out whether the diverter is jammed, the motor is weak or the control is not driving it.
  • We look for debris that stops the diverter from reaching its position.
  • The price is written and approved before work, and the repair is covered by a 30-day warranty.
Opening a panel yourself does not automatically cancel a manufacturer warranty, but it can cause accidental damage, and some manufacturers set their own service conditions. Check your warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
iE0iE0 questions
What is a flow controller?

It directs water to the upper or lower spray arm. If it cannot reach its position, only one level may get proper water.

Why is only one rack clean?

The diverter is stuck on one position, so the other spray arm gets little water.

Could a spoon cause this?

A utensil or label that works into the pump area can block it, which is why we check for debris first.
