What OFF means

On Electrolux ICON built-in all-freezer columns with the Custom Set control, such as the E32AF85PQS, E32AF75JPS, EI32AF80QS and EI32AF65JS, OFF is a message that the freezer has been shut off from the panel rather than a failure. At the warmest setting of 10 F, pressing the UP key three times within three seconds turns the cooling off and the display scrolls OFF. The freezer stops cooling, so the food will warm if it stays that way.

Usually not. OFF is a setting you can turn on from the panel by pressing UP three times at the warmest setting, so it is often an accidental press.

How do I turn the freezer back on?

Press the DOWN key three times within three seconds. The display should return to a temperature, and you should soon hear the freezer start cooling again.

What if it keeps going to OFF?
