What iF0 means
The iF0 code on Electrolux ICON dishwashers such as the EI24ID50QS and EW24ID70QT means the total fill time was exceeded, so the dishwasher took in more water than it should. The manufacturer groups it with i20 and i40, which point to clogged filters or a restricted drain. You may see water sitting high in the tub, or a cycle that stops while water remains.
Common causes of iF0
- Clogged filter or restricted drain
- Water inlet valve letting water through
- Pressure sensor misreading the level
- Drain pump not emptying the tub
1. Press Cancel and look at the tub. If water is high, bail it out with a cup. 2. Clean the filter and sump by hand. 3. Check the drain hose for a kink and that the sink drain is clear. 4. If iF0 comes back, turn off the water supply to the dishwasher and call us.
- Overfilling can come from a drain that is slow, a valve that leaks through or a sensor that reads wrong, so we test all three.
- We check how the tub fills and drains under power.
- You get the price in writing first, and the repair carries a 30-day warranty.
Other Dishwasher codes
What does iF0 mean for my floor?
Water can spill if the tub overfills. Turning off the supply valve under the sink limits the risk until we arrive.
Is a slow drain the only cause?
It is common, but a fill valve that does not close fully can produce the same message.
Can I run the dishwasher again?
Only after clearing the filter and drain. If the code returns, please leave it off.
