What E52 means
E52 means the motor stopped or never started on Electrolux Wave-Touch and IQ-Touch dryers like the EIED55HIW, EIGD55HIW, EWED65HSS and EWMED65HIW. The listed reasons are an overheated motor, a load that is too heavy, low supply voltage, or a motor or wiring problem. The motor has a thermal protector that can take up to 30 minutes to reset, so the dryer may work again after a rest.
