Dryer Repair in Houston
Electrolux front-load dryers are made in electric and gas versions, and many are stacked on or matched to a washer. We repair heating, drying, tumbling and venting problems on newer and older dryers across the Houston area.
Common dryer problems we fix

Heat building in the laundry area
Electrolux front-load dryers are electric or gas and often match a washer in the same line, sometimes stacked. They use a heating element or gas burner, a thermal fuse, sensors, a belt-driven drum and a vent path that must move air out of the house.
In Houston, long vent runs, humid air and attic or wall venting make dryers work harder. Lint builds up in the duct and around the heater, and moisture slows drying and rusts parts. A gas dryer also depends on a correct gas connection, and any gas line work belongs to a licensed plumber.
We check the vent path, the lint screen, the heating section, the thermal fuse, sensors, belt and drum rollers, and any code on the display. For older dryers outside warranty, we give honest advice on whether to repair or replace.

Why are my clothes still wet after a full dryer cycle?
The most common cause is a restricted vent or a full lint trap. A heating element, thermal fuse or igniter can also fail. Clear the lint filter and check that the vent hose is not crushed before you schedule a visit.
Is a burning smell from my dryer dangerous?
It can be. Lint packed into the vent or around the heater can start a fire. Stop the dryer, unplug it and have the vent and heating area checked before the next load.
Should I repair an older gas dryer?
If the problem is an igniter, a sensor, a belt or a roller, yes in most cases. Gas supply or burner damage needs a careful look. We say plainly when replacing is the safer choice.
