ELFE743C
Electrolux ELFE743C Older Dryer Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Heating element and thermal fuse
- Vent run
- Belt and drum rollers
- Door switch
The ELFE743C is an older electric Electrolux dryer. The item lists the revision ELFE743CAW0 and the white version ELFE743CAW. No feature list is known, so we treat it as a standard electric dryer and confirm the details by reading the label when we arrive.
The visit is built around what you describe. If the dryer is cold, we test the element and the thermal fuse. If it is slow, we clean and measure the vent. If it is loud, we examine the belt, idler and rollers. And if it will not start at all, we check the door switch and the power supply before opening up any control parts.
Everything we order matches the number on your rating plate. You see the cost before any repair begins, and our labor is guaranteed for 30 days. Older dryers are the core of our repair work, and we tell you straight if the cost does not make sense.

What should I have ready when you come to look at the ELFE743C?
The label inside the door opening has the full model and serial number. If you can note what the dryer does or does not do, that helps us bring the likely parts.
Why does my dryer run but not heat?
An open element or a tripped thermal fuse is the usual cause, and a clogged vent can open that fuse. We test both and clear the vent.
Do you repair older Electrolux dryers like this one?
Yes, regularly. We confirm parts availability before quoting, so you know the cost and any limits before we start. Our quotes are written, so you see the full cost before any repair begins.
