ELFE753C
Electrolux ELFE753C Electric Dryer Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Heating element and thermal fuse
- Vent restriction
- Drum belt and rollers
- Door switch
The ELFE753C is an older electric dryer from Electrolux. It is listed with two builds, ELFE753CAT0 and ELFE753CAW0, so it comes in titanium and white finishes. We have few documented features for it, so we describe it plainly and confirm the rest from the label.
Our checks on a dryer like this start at the vent and move inward. We clear the lint path and measure airflow, test the heating element and thermal fuse, and then look at the belt, idler and rollers if there is noise or the drum stalls. A dryer that will not start is tested at the door switch and the power supply.
The rating plate gives us the model and build, and we read both before ordering. You agree to the cost first, and our labor carries a 30-day guarantee. If a repair is not worth it on a dryer this age, we say so.

Which finishes does the ELFE753C come in?
The item lists titanium and white builds, ELFE753CAT and ELFE753CAW. We check yours on the label because trim parts differ. Titanium and white builds share working parts, but trim pieces are ordered by finish.
My dryer got hot and then stopped. What happened?
Overheating from a clogged vent can open the thermal fuse, which stops the heat. We replace the fuse only after we clear the vent, or it will open again.
How long does a repair like this usually take?
Many dryer repairs are finished in one visit when we have the right part. If a part must be ordered, we tell you before leaving.
