EFME628WTT
Electrolux EFME628WTT Titanium Dryer Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Heating circuit when the drum turns but there is no heat
- Vent restriction and airflow
- Control and setup behavior after installation
- Door switch and drum drive
The EFME628WTT is an electric front-load dryer in titanium, with the WTT ending marking the finish. It is an older model, and the matching washer is the EFLS628WTT. Few details are known about this one, so we treat it as a standard electric front-load dryer and confirm everything on the label.
On a dryer of this type we begin with airflow, because a long or crushed vent is behind a large share of slow drying. After that we test the heating circuit with a meter, then the door switch and the drum drive if it will not start. Setup questions after a new installation are also part of the visit.
Older dryers reward patience with parts, so the rating plate is read before anything is ordered. You hear the cost first, and we guarantee our labor for 30 days. If it is past a sensible fix, we will tell you.

What do you check first when my EFME628WTT has no heat?
We confirm the dryer is getting full power, then test the heating element and its safety parts. Vent blockage comes in as a close second, since restricted airflow can cut heat off on its own.
Is the EFME628WTT sold as a set with a washer?
The matching washer is the EFLS628WTT. A pairing does not change how the dryer is repaired, but it helps to know when we are working in a shared laundry closet.
Will you tell me if this older dryer is not worth fixing?
Yes. We quote in writing before any work and give you our honest opinion on whether the repair cost makes sense compared with a replacement.
