ELFW7626B
Electrolux ELFW7626B Stain-Removing Washer Repair
Most common issues on this model
- SmartBoost fill and mixing path
- Steam valve
- Pure Rinse and drain
- Door lock and boot seal
The ELFW7626B is a front-load Perfect Steam washer with LuxCare Plus Wash and SmartBoost, holding 4.5 cubic feet. It has an Optic Whites cycle, a Pure Rinse option and a 15-Minute Fast Wash. Finishes include ELFW7626BD and ELFW7626BW, and it is a current model.
With this many features, the best way to find a problem is to run each cycle. We check that SmartBoost fills and mixes properly, that steam works when selected, and that Pure Rinse adds the extra rinse and drains clean. Then we check the drain pump and filter, the door lock and the boot seal.
BD and BW are other finishes of this washer. We choose parts from the nameplate, provide a written estimate before work, and guarantee our labor for 30 days.

What does Pure Rinse mean for service?
It adds an extra rinse option on this washer. If clothes still feel soapy after it, we check the fill, the water level and the drain, since too little water or a slow drain can leave soap behind.
What are ELFW7626BD and ELFW7626BW?
They are the same model in other finishes, so the washer works the same way. We read the nameplate so any part we order matches your finish and build.
The Optic Whites cycle seems short. Is it broken?
Not necessarily. We run the cycle ourselves and compare it with how the washer should behave, then check the fill and heating before quoting anything.
