What NO WATER means

NO WATER appears during the Install Cycle on Electrolux Wave-Touch and IQ-Touch front-loading washers like the EWFLW65HIW and EIFLW55HMB. It means the washer does not see water coming in, because the inlet hoses are not attached to the water supply or the supply valves are turned off. The display shows NO WATER. This is usually an installation matter and not a failure of the washer.

Common causes of NO WATER

  • Supply valves still turned off
  • Hoses not connected to the valves or the washer
  • A kinked hose
  • Screens at the hose ends blocked by debris
✓ One safe check you can try

1. Check that both hoses are attached to the supply valves and to the washer. 2. Turn both supply valves fully on. 3. Straighten any hose that is kinked or pinched behind the washer. 4. Repeat the Install Cycle. If NO WATER stays on the display, call us.

! Why to stop there
  • If water reaches the washer but it still shows NO WATER, we test the inlet valves and the fill sensing.
  • We check the inlet screens for debris.
  • A written price is agreed first if a repair is needed, and our workmanship is warranted for 30 days.
Opening a panel yourself does not automatically cancel a manufacturer warranty, but it can cause accidental damage, and some manufacturers set their own service conditions. Check your warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
NO WATERNO WATER questions
What is the Install Cycle?

It is a first-time cycle that checks the installation before you wash clothes. The washer needs water to complete it, so a missing supply stops it and shows NO WATER on the display.

Are both valves needed?

Yes, both the hot and cold valves should be fully on, with each hose attached to the correct inlet on the back of the washer. A single closed valve can stop the cycle.

What if the water is on and it still says NO WATER?

Then we check the inlet screens, the fill valves and the fill sensing on the washer itself. You get a written price before any repair is done.
