What LOC means

LOC means the control lock is turned on for Electrolux front-load washers, including the EWFLW65HIW, EIFLW55HIW, EFLS627UTT and ELFW7637AT. The lock is a child safety setting that locks the controls between cycles, so the washer will not start a cycle while it is on. You will see LOC on the display. It is a setting and not an error, and there is nothing wrong with the washer.

Is LOC a sign of a problem?

No. It is the control lock, a child safety feature that stops the washer from starting while it is on. Turning it off lets you run cycles as normal and nothing needs to be repaired.

How do I turn it off?

Scroll to the control lock option on the panel and press Select. The same steps turn the lock on again later if you want it, for example when small children are around.

What if LOC will not go away?
