EWFLW65H
Electrolux EWFLW65H Wave-Touch Washer Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Door lock and boot seal
- Drain pump and filter
- Wave-Touch panel
- Bearings on older machines
The EWFLW65H is an early Wave-Touch front-load washer, long since discontinued. It was sold in finishes EWFLW65HIW, EWFLW65HSS and EWFLW65HTS. Plenty of Houston owners still run one, years after production stopped.
This early design has no steam option listed, so there are fewer water paths to check. We look at the door lock and the boot seal, the drain pump and filter, the Wave-Touch panel, and how the drum turns by hand. After years of use, bearings and seals are what we pay the most attention to.
Older parts need careful matching, so the nameplate is where we start. Nothing starts until the estimate is in your hand. If the cost of repair outweighs the value of a long-discontinued washer, we will tell you.

What are the finishes of the EWFLW65H?
EWFLW65HIW, EWFLW65HSS and EWFLW65HTS are listed for this washer. We use the full number from the label to match parts, because finish and build can change which part fits.
Is a long-discontinued washer worth repairing?
It can be, if the drum and bearings are still good. We check them first, give you a written price for the repair, and give you a candid answer when the cost is too high for the age of the machine.
The washer leaks from the front. What do you inspect?
We inspect the boot seal and door latch, then the drain filter and hoses. A leak can come from several places, so we find the source first.
