What E00 means
E00 on Electrolux Wave-Touch and IQ-Touch front-load washers in the EWFLW65H and EIFLW55H series, such as the EWFLW65HIW and EIFLW55HMB, is not a problem. It appears when the washer is reading back its stored codes, and E00 means no failure code has been recorded. The chart comes from the 2008 to 2010 generation, and a later model may use it the same way, but we cannot say so for sure. If your washer has a real problem, you will see a different code.
Common causes of E00
- Nothing is wrong. E00 reports that no error is stored
- A recent reset that cleared earlier codes
1. Do not repair anything because of E00 alone. 2. If the washer is acting up, note exactly what it does and any other code. 3. Run a normal cycle and watch it. 4. If the problem continues, call us and tell us what you saw.
- If something is wrong but E00 shows, the washer simply has no stored code, and we test how it behaves through a cycle.
- We check water, drain and door behavior directly.
Other Washer codes
Is E00 an error on my washer?
No. It tells you the washer has no failure code recorded. It appears when the stored codes are read back, and E00 simply means the list is empty.
My washer has a problem but shows E00. Why?
Not every problem stores a code. If the washer is acting up, we check water, drain, door and motor behavior in person instead of relying on the code list.
Should I replace anything because of E00?
No. E00 alone is a normal reading and no part needs to be replaced. Note what the washer does and call us if the problem continues.
Still unsure about E00?
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
