EFLS527UTT
Electrolux EFLS527UTT LuxCare Washer Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Door boot seal and drain filter
- Steam and fill valves
- Drain pump
- Drum movement and noise
The EFLS527UTT is a U-generation Perfect Steam front-loader with LuxCare Wash and a 4.3 cubic foot drum, ENERGY STAR rated. It is sold in titanium and also as the white EFLS527UIW, and it is a discontinued model that many Houston families still use every week.
On a front-load washer of this type we begin with a test cycle, then check the drain filter and pump, the door seal and lock, and the fill and steam valves. If you hear a rumble or grinding on spin, we also check the drum movement and the load balance before suggesting a bigger repair.
Builds end in 0, 1 or 2, and titanium and white carry different letters, so the nameplate is how we choose parts. The quote comes in writing and you approve it first. If repair makes little sense for a washer this age, we will tell you.

What is the difference between UTT and UIW?
UTT is the titanium finish and UIW is the white one. They are the same washer family, but we still record the nameplate numbers so we match parts to the exact build.
My steam washer makes a rumbling noise on spin. What do you check?
First we look at the load balance, the leveling and the drum movement, then look at the suspension and bearings if the noise continues. We tell you what we find and give a price in writing first.
Is this washer ENERGY STAR rated?
Yes, this model is listed as ENERGY STAR rated. That does not change how we repair it, but we do match any part to the exact build.
