EFMG628WTT
Electrolux EFMG628WTT Titanium Dryer Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Ignition and gas valve when heat is missing
- Exhaust length and lint buildup
- Gas connector and shutoff
- Door switch and drum drive
The EFMG628WTT is a gas front-load dryer in titanium, the gas model in the 628 group. It is an older Electrolux model, and the matching washer is the EFLS628WTT. We have limited published detail for this model, so we handle it as a front-load gas dryer and confirm everything on the label.
For gas dryers of this type we start with a safe, simple order. First the gas connection and shutoff, then the ignition sequence, then the exhaust. Those three explain most calls where a gas dryer tumbles without heating. If the dryer will not start at all, the door switch and drive are next.
Older dryers are our core work, and we say plainly when a repair does not pay. We read the rating plate before ordering, you hear the cost first, and our labor carries a 30-day guarantee.

What do you check when my EFMG628WTT will not heat?
We watch the ignition and test the igniter and valve coils, check the gas supply, then look at the exhaust. Poor airflow can shut the burner off, so the vent gets measured too.
Does the dryer pair with a particular washer?
The EFLS628WTT is the matching washer. Pairing only helps us plan the visit, since the two often share a closet or alcove. We simply read the label to confirm your exact build before quoting any part.
Is parts availability a concern for a model this old?
It can be, which is why we read the label first and confirm the part before quoting. If a needed part is hard to find, we say so before you spend anything.
