The EIMGD60J is a 27-inch gas front-load dryer with IQ-Touch controls and Perfect Steam, and the item lists an 8.0 cu. ft. drum. It comes in three finishes, EIMGD60JIW, EIMGD60JMB and EIMGD60JRR. Electrolux has discontinued it, but many are still in daily use.

Why does my EIMGD60J heat for a few minutes and quit?
A restricted vent that trips the limiter is the most common cause, followed by a weak igniter. We measure the airflow and watch a full ignition cycle.
Are the IW, MB and RR dryers all repaired the same way?

Can steam be repaired separately from heat?
