ELFE7437AW
Electrolux ELFE7437AW 400 Series Dryer Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Heating element and thermal parts
- Vent and lint path
- Moisture sensing for cycle end
- Door switch and start
The ELFE7437AW is a white electric front-load dryer from the Electrolux 400 Series. The same dryer is also sold as the ELFE7437AG and ELFE7437AT, so the last two letters tell you the finish. It is a current-generation model, and we see it in newer Houston homes and recent laundry remodels.
We handle a newer dryer like this one with the same discipline as an older one. Vent first, because it is the cheapest thing to fix and the most common cause of long cycles. Then the heating element and thermal parts, followed by the moisture sensing that decides when a cycle ends. The door switch and start circuit are tested when it will not run.
Every parts order starts at your rating plate. The cost is quoted in advance, and our work is guaranteed for 30 days. Because it is a current model, repair is usually the right choice.

Do the AW, AG and AT versions share parts?
Working parts are the same. The finish letters change trim and cosmetic pieces, so we confirm which one you have on the label before ordering.
The ELFE7437AW is new but dries slowly. Is it defective?
Not necessarily. Slow drying on newer dryers is most often a restricted vent. We measure airflow first and test the heating parts only if the vent is clear.
Do you repair dryers that are still current?
Yes. Whether a dryer is current or discontinued, we diagnose it, quote the price in writing and stand behind the work with a 30-day warranty.
