ELFG7637AT
Electrolux ELFG7637AT LuxCare Dryer Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Gas igniter and valve coils
- Lint buildup behind the drum and in the vent
- Sensor-based drying that ends early
- Door seal and drum rollers
The ELFG7637AT is a 600 Series gas front-load dryer from Electrolux with LuxCare Dry and an 8.0 cu. ft. drum. AT is titanium and AW is white. It was set up to pair with the ELFW7637AT washer, so you may find the two stacked or side by side in the same laundry room.
This is the A build of the 600 Series gas dryer, and a later B build exists, so the letters matter when we order parts. For no heat we start with the igniter and gas valve coils. For long drying times we check how freely air leaves through the vent, then clean the sensor bars used by LuxCare Dry.
We start every order from the model and serial printed on the dryer’s tag. A written quote comes before the work, and if anything we repaired acts up in the next 30 days, we come back at no charge for labor.

How do I tell the ELFG7637AT from the later B build?
The ending letters on the label tell the build. The AT and AW are the first build, and the B builds came later. A few parts differ between them, so we always confirm the full number before ordering.
My dryer takes two cycles to dry a load. Is that the dryer or the vent?
It is often the vent. We measure airflow at the dryer and clear the duct. If air moves well and the load is still damp, we test the LuxCare Dry sensor and the heat parts.
Can the dryer be repaired without moving the washer?
Often yes. Most gas dryer parts are reached from the front or back panel. If the pair is stacked, we tell you what has to be moved before we start, so there are no surprises.
