Electrolux ELFW7437AW 400 Series Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Detergent drawer and rinse
- Drain pump and filter
- Door lock
- Drum balance on large loads
The ELFW7437AW is a white 400 Series front-load washer from Electrolux with 4.5 cubic feet of capacity. It is part of today’s lineup, and the finishes ELFW7437AD and ELFW7437AG are listed alongside it.
A drum of this size is meant for big loads like comforters and towels, so balance and drain matter. When a heavy load makes the washer shake or stop, we check leveling first and then the suspension. We also look at the detergent drawer and rinse when clothes come out soapy, and at the drain pump and filter when water is left behind.
The AD, AG and AW suffixes are finishes, so parts are matched from the nameplate. The quote comes in writing and you approve it first, and we tell you plainly if a repair is not worth it.
