ELTW20XAK
Electrolux ELTW20XAK Washing Machine Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Water fill and inlet screens
- Drain pump and filter
- Door or lid switch
- Spin and drum movement
The ELTW20XAK is an older Electrolux washer. We have few specific features to list for it, so we keep our work simple: we confirm the exact model from the label, run the washer through a cycle, and see where it stops.
On a washer of this kind we check the water fill and inlet screens, the drain pump and filter, the door or lid switch, and the way the drum spins. Whether the washer fills, washes, drains or spins tells us where to look next. Older units in Houston homes also often have worn hoses and seals, so we inspect those.
The label may show ELTW20XAKW0. Older parts need extra checking, so we note the revision and serial before choosing anything. We hand you the estimate before work begins, and we say plainly when repair does not make sense.

Can you repair an older washer with few listed features?
Yes. We record the nameplate numbers, then test each stage of the cycle: fill, wash, drain and spin. Once we find the cause, you get the part and labor quoted in writing before anything is ordered.
What is the ELTW20XAKW?
It is the same model sold with a finish suffix on the end. We use the complete number from the label so that any part we order matches your washer exactly, not only the base model.
What do you check on a washer that will not drain?
We begin with the drain filter and hose, then test the pump. A blockage is the most common and cheapest thing to fix, and we tell you before quoting anything.
